BRBROOKLYN COURT
IF YOU LIVE IN QUEENS, BROOKLYN OR STATEN ISLAND
Car:
Take the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway to Atlantic Avenue, head east on Atlantic Avenue
to Clinton Street, turn left on Clinton Street. Take Clinton Street for seven blocks until it turns into
Tillary Street and proceed one block to Cadman Plaza East. The Courthouse is located on the right
between Tillary and Johnson Streets.
Subway:
Take the IRT number 2, 3, 4 or 5 train to Borough Hall or the BMT M, N or R train
to Court Street. You will have a one or two block walk to the Courthouse, depending on which exit
is used. You may also take the IND A, C or F train to Jay Street. Proceed west on Willoughby street
across Adams Street. Turn right on Adams Street to Johnson Street. Turn left on Johnson Street and
proceed one block to Cadman Plaza East. Turn right on Cadman Plaza East. The entrance to the
court is on the right as you make the turn onto Cadman Plaza East.

Public Transportation:
The entrance to the Bowling Green Station of the No. 4 and 5 trains of the New York City Subway is found directly in front of the Alexander Hamilton Custom House
The entrance to the Whitehall Street Station of the R and W trains is on Whitehall Street to the left of the Custom House.
The J, M, and Z trains are a short distance on Broad Street, between Beaver Street and Exchange Place.
Walking/Driving:
Bowling Green is located at the very bottom of Broadway, and is within walking distance of City Hall and points south.
Upon arriving at the Alexander Hamilton Custom House, the Bankruptcy Court is found at the entrance to the left of the grand staircase.
WWHITE PLAINS COURT
WESTCHESTER AND OTHER COUNTIES
From Tappan Zee Bridge and Garden State Parkway:
Travel East over the Tappan Zee Bridge, continue South on the New York State Thruway to Exit 8 (Route 287 East-Cross Westchester Expressway). Take Route 287 East to Exit 5 (Route 100, Route 119 White Plains). Exit ramp onto Route 119 East. Go East on Route 119 for approximately 9 traffic lights. Pass under the Metro-North train station. Go Two more lights to South Lexington Avenue; make a right turn onto Lexington Avenue and go two lights to Quarropas Street; make a left turn on Quarropas. The courthouse in on the corner.
From Hutchinson River Parkway:
Take Exit 23N (Mamaroneck Avenue). Continue on Mamaroneck Avenue into White Plains (approximately 3 miles) to Quarropas Street. Make a left turn onto Quarropas and go 3 blocks to the courthouse. The courthouse is on the right at South Lexington Avenue.
From Route 95 (New England Thruway):
Take Route 95 to Route 287 West. Take Route 287 West to Exit 6. At the end of the exit ramp there is a stop sign, at the stop sign turn left and go to the first traffic light and make another left onto North Broadway. Take North Broadway to Martine Avenue and make a right on Martine Avenue. Take Martine Avenue to South Lexington Avenue and make a left on South Lexington Avenue. The courthouse is on the left.
From New York City and New Jersey (via the George Washington Bridge):
Take the Major Deegan North (which becomes the New York State Thruway) to Exit 8. This puts you on Route 287, take Route 287 to Exit 5 and follow directions from the Tappan Zee Bridge.
Via Public Transportation:
Take the Metro-North (Blue Line) to White Plains Station. Walk two blocks to South Lexington Avenue. Turn right at South Lexington Avenue and walk two more blocks to Quarropas Street. The courthouse is on the corner.
