John C. Castro has more than 10 years in the field of bankruptcy and consumer protection law. Mr. Castro first started out his career at a prominent Queens, New York Bankruptcy law firm where he served as a Law Clerk.
After graduating law school Mr. Castro was employed as an attorney in this same firm and quickly rose through the ranks.
In 2008, Mr. Castro went on to open his own law practice in Forest Hills, New York and after a successful first year, needing to expanded his office, Castro Law, PLLC its main office to Jackson Heights, New York.
John C. Castro, Esq. attended St. John’s University in Jamaica, Queens where he graduated cum laude and went on to attend law school at Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York.
Mr. Castro attends numerous continuing education classes specifically devoted to bankruptcy, in order to keep abreast in the developments and changes in the bankruptcy law.
Mr. Castro is a member of the National Association of Bankruptcy Attorneys which is the only national organization dedicated to protecting the rights of consumer debtors in bankruptcy.
The National Association of Bankruptcy Attorneys was formed to:
Ensure the voices of consumer debtors and their attorneys are heard in the halls of Congress, the Judiciary and other arenas affecting consumer debtors; and
